Planning An All Inclusive Family Holiday

When the time comes around for you and your family to go on holiday where do you start? With so many beautiful countries, hotels and resorts there is so much to offer the traveller.

Pop online or go to your travel agents, they will be able to provide invaluable advice which will help you come to an informed decision.

Check books and online resources for recommendations and read family magazines and the news papers travel sections often have some advice or deals for inclusive package holidays for families. A few important considerations need to be given to travel arrangements, accommodation, child minding and the day to day events.

You need to ensure that any accommodation and activities are suitable for your children. If there isn’t a suitable activity, often activities have some restrictions on age or a minimum height. Ensure the accommodation has child minders which can look after the Children whilst you go out for the day if the accommodation is not suitable for them. Some accommodation has Children acuities which allow the parents to go off for the day and the children go out swimming for the day or to an attraction.

Travelling with Children will often mean that you will be on a lower budget than if it were yourself and or your spouse. Don’t immediately accept that you need to have budget accommodation, there are many reasons why budget accommodation such as back packers and hostels is not suitable.

Hostels and back packers tend to not provide the same level of service as standard self catering accommodation and certainly do not provide the same level of service as that of a hotel or guest house. The minimum standard to accept would be a self catering apartment.

There are many all inclusive packages you as a consumer can choose from. These will often include transfers from your home address or chosen location to the nominated airport. Be sure to check any transport is child friendly because it might well be a coach with no facilities for your children to sleep comfortably or baby changing facilities.

When flying on a plane the cabin crew are very often helpful and will cater to your needs, they will have had training in childcare and regularly have children and babies on board, this isn’t to say they will baby sit them for the duration of the journey but it’s a nice thought!
