It was our second visit to Mysore. Since it is one of most beautiful places in India we didn’t thought twice before deciding to go to Mysore. I and my wife were accompanied by my brother-in-law and his wife. As it was a long weekend we all planned to spend all our holidays at Mysore. We travelled by my vehicle. On our way we took some halt so it took us around five hours to reach Mysore from Bangalore.
Before starting we booked our lodging in Hotel United-21 .The reason to choose this hotel was because of it location as it is situated near the great Mysore Palace. After reaching the hotel we changed ourselves in to some light clothes and started our sight-seeing activities. The first thing we did was to explore the Mysore palace again. Time and time again we have seen this place but still it feels different every time you see it. The palace is so beautifully constructed that you can hardly concentrate on other things. After visiting this palace we also went to Jaganmohana palace, Jayalakshmi Vilas & Lalitha Mahal. I was wondering how creative the people would have been at that time. Their creativity could be seen from their work and beautifully constructed sculptures were one of the proof.
After seeing all the palaces we descended to Karanji and Kukkarahalli lakes. There we also went to butterfly park. It was the perfect place where you will find peace. The people in Mysore are always at peace with this kind of nature around them. The last spot we went was to Krishnarajasagar Dam and the Brindavan Gardens. It had a huge fountain right in its middle with colourful lights and music that adds to its beauty. The whole experience of sight-seeing was pleasurable but it took some toll on our body. We were completely tired by the time we reached
